Pizza Drive
We struck gold when we found a little brick oven pizzeria, Mia's, on our way home. Perfect after our rough and tumble day on the slopes.
Once Anos
We celebrated our 11 year anniversary with a snow day! Pinecrest Lake is the perfect place for sledding. The snow was super fluffy and we found just the right spot to make our ice track. After a few runs we were bullets, flying off the rails on our crazy saucers. It was beautiful and we can't wait to go again.

The Backroaders
We explored Highway 35 after our hike. Coming upon Portola Redwoods State Park was like something out of a dream, an isolated rainforest in the middle of the peninsula. We need to go camping there this summer. At the end of the day we drove off into the sunset.

Purisima Pilgrimage
No trip to the South Bay is complete without stopping at the Woodside Bakery & Cafe for some goodies. The steak sandwich and cheeseburger are mighty fine in our book. After getting our grub on, we were on to the beautiful Purisima Creek Redwoods for some hiking. What a gorgeous day it was! Aaahhhh, Spring fever, we love you so!

Margarita Party!
It was a good 'ol time on Castle Road last weekend. We whipped up a few batches of the best margaritas ever, and had a ball! Gar and Ad knew all the raps...their album drops the end of this year. The power outage put an end to the ruckus, til the next day anyway. Superbowl it was on again. Good times!
