Mr. Slow Flow

Evidence Dilated Peoples Aceyalone

We found our way to the Mezzanine once again, this time to see Evidence in action with Dilated Peoples, and oh my they brought it! Aceyalone had some good jams (a pleasant surprise). Overall, it was a sick show with lots of good music...we even got to hear Mr. Slow Flow! Woohoo!

Prince Rakim RZA Bobby Digital

We saw the Master Producer with the sickest beats last night! Promoting his new album, Digi Snacks, we heard new stuff and some of the old. All of it was good. Mmmmm....

The Heat is On! part deux

The Heat is On!

It's so freakin hot here we can't sit inside at night. We just missed Bi-Rite Creamery, which closes at 11, so we had to regroup and make a new game plan. On to the Velvet Cantina! This brothel inspired spot was just the ticket, serving up bomb watermelon and lime margaritas! Upon intoxication, we proceeded to wander down Valencia. People were crowding the street and a couple cat fights broke out, but we still managed to rustle ourselves up a few slices of pizza. Bombata baby!

Dancing Machines

A night out in North Beach! First up, Grant and Green for the musical stylings of Coup de Ska (a mighty fine band if we do say so ourselves). Then we moved on Savoy Tivoli, which was much too boring for our needs. So, naturally, we ended up at Mojito, the best place we know of for dancing! We got to hear some great reggae music and get our groove on! Weeeee!

Let's Play Ball!

Well, we spoke too soon about summer coming early...we're officially fogged in! We enjoyed a chilly baseball game, where we could even see our breath. Two outs, bottom of the ninth...time for the rally sprinklers!

Warm San Francisco Night

A little walk up Greenwich to Coit Tower is never bad on a sunny San Francisco day! Lately, the breeze is warm and so are the nights...did we get our Indian Summer early this year?

Tres Salt Park

Wow! We painted the town up right! The folks (Jim and Pam) came up and we all went to The Ramp for drinks and lunch by the water. We just missed the salsa dancing...next time! Then it was on to Tres Agaves for the best margaritas in town and some Giants baseball on the big screen. $4 house margaritas + 1 beautiful day = 5 happy campers! We got the call from Salt House and couldn't resist. More drinks and delicious hors d'oeuvres! Naturally, we couldn't just let the night end there...so it was on to our house to bundle up for a movie in Dolores Park. Only, the movie was screening at Washington Square Park! We didn't care though! We had a great view and caught a fireworks show from the Kenny Chesney concert. Woo hoo!

Rock Steady

A little ping pong, some dancing, topped with music by the fire. Aah, sweet fun!

Dine and Drink

Grad parlay! A gang of us got together to celebrate the graduate and bid her farewell to San Francisco. The food was delish and the margaritas were flowing like water. Perfect combo!
