Jay cashed in her Christmas present today - with a day of painting the bedroom. It was actually pretty fun and we think it looks real good! Yaaaay!

Happy Birthday Lynn!

We had a good 'ol time sipping champagne by the fire in Lynn's new place...then it was off to Bruno's to dance the night away! What a fun way to celebrate! Woohooo!

The parents came to help Lynn move to her new place in Noe Valley. So, after they were all done, we went to lunch! El Faralito was just the ticket, serving up some bomb mexican food. Mmmm!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We celebrated Valentine's Day by wandering 'round and going wherever the sidewalk took us! We headed in the direction of the Mission, the first stop being Delfina Pizzeria for a Marguerita with pepperoni to go. As luck would have it, the rain started to drop when walked out, so we ate huddled under our umbrella. That damn pizza never tasted so good. Soon after we continued on to Valencia, walking down to 22nd and deciding to head left deeper into the Mish. The dresses outside the Kosa Bella Boutique caught Lilly's eye, so we crossed the street and stepped in. This is a great place for some funky dancing dresses, for sure! Upon finding something just right, we paid and were on our way. Heading on down the line, we stopped at a funky shop with clothes hanging all around the doorway...everything outside was only $5...so, the Tinkerbell sweatshirt just couldn't be passed up. We'd read about a great new ice cream shop at Harrison & 24th...so that became our destination. And what a sweet oasis Humphry Slocombe was! Ad got 3 flavors - pistachio bacon, chocolate, and creme cheese & cookie. Lil got 3 flavors - hibiscus beet, blue bottle vietnamese coffee, and a special "cupid" flavor we can't remember. Aaahh, sweet walk!

For dinner, we decided to try Nopalito, the little sister restaurant of Nopa. Mmmmmm! Delicious traditional beef stew and carnitas. This place is very comfy and we're sure to visit again.

To top off the night, we headed to the Metreon to see the much anticipated Confessions of a Shopaholic. What fun! Ha! Actually, contrary to the previews, the movie is pretty good...great for Valentines Day. Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Doce Anos!

We asked ourselves: Do we feel lucky? Yes we do! We're celebrating our 12th anniversary! So, we made our way to Jackson Arms to shoot some guns. After a short training session, we were in the shooting range blasting our .22 at the target. We got pretty close to the bullseye most of the time, except when the target kept fluttering in the wind. The place was like an icebox, so our fingers were numb after about an hour...time to get some real fire in these hands! We went Dirty Harry all over that target, stepping it up to a .44 mag. Uh huh. Wow. Rocking back after each shot, feeling the kick through your whole body...what a rush! Oh yeah! Happy Anniversary to us!!!
