Almond Blossoms and Tangerines

The almond blossoms are out in full force - beautiful as ever :) We visited with the grandparents, picked some tangerines, saw the first lemon produced by a 10 year old tree and then hit the road...nice valley visit!

Emily & Jen's Pantry Party

Em & Jen had a housewarming party at their new home! Yummy nachos and good convo. Fun times!

Nobunny at BOTH

We took the bus down the street a ways to Bottom of the Hill for NOBUNNY! Clad in briefs, leather jacket and a bunny mask, the lead singer was a sight to see. Crowd surfing was the thing to do and many fans got tossed on stage to dance then jumped back in. They rocked the house and a rollicking good time was had by all. Battle Hooch was on next, but half the audience took off after Nobunny (including ourselves) - it would suck to have to follow that up and we felt a little bad for them. Though, in our defense, they were a different breed of music altogether and we now understand why the old guys in bandannas were there...

A Night at the Symphony

Lilly and Wendy headed over to the Davies Symphony Hall to take in some beautiful music. Fun times!

Saturday Brekkles

We fried up some eggs and bacon...put a dallop of Greek yogurt on a gluten-free waffle with blueberries...and toasted some Ezekial. Oh la la!

Somewhere at Little Roxie

We headed over to 16th Street to see Sofia Coppola's latest work...Somewhere. The boom mic was in nearly every scene so we weren't really sure what she was going for. A documentary vibe? Poking fun at acting? Anyways, we found out afterward that it was the fault of the projectionist we had the displeasure of seeing said boom mic. Ugh.

Love is in the air! We treated ourselves to a honey-sweetened chocolate souffle and a Rom-Com. Awwww lovers in love :)
