We arrived early to our Giants game today, to take part in the festivities. We got to see our favorite players up close and personal. Lilly made cat calls to Randy Winn and got him to look her in the eyes! Yaaa! It was all fun and games until the actual game started. It went downhill from there, but we still had a great time. Go Giants!

Aloha Wedding Shower!
The family got together Saturday to celebrate the coming nuptials of Clint and Alicia. We enjoyed an Aloha themed barbecue, homemade Jeopardy game and super yummy dessert. It's getting close to time to fly to Kauai y'all! Clint and Alicia are registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and REI, for all the shoppers out there :) And if any of you have songs you want to hear at the reception, send the titles and artists their way!

Go Giants!
Adam, Lilly and Lynn spent a warm Summer night watching the Giants beat the Mets! Oh la la! We got to see Barry Zito pitching and Omar Vizquel make a couple awesome plays. The weather in the city has been absolutely amazing...going to a night game without a sweater...bliss. Tonight we'll just roof it, with the park in the distance, and listen to the game on the radio. Good times!

South Park, San Francisco
Sunday we hit up Jeremys to see what discounted designer wares we could find to spruce up our closet. We got there a few minutes before opening, so we decided to stroll down South Park Avenue, and couldn't believe how cool it was! This little hidden street has a lush green park, restaurants, trendy shops and a cafe that we definitely have to try. It was like a different world walking around there, tucked away from the rush of the busy streets surrounding it. After we rounded the park, we stepped into Jeremys where Ad found a cool pair of pants to wear in Kauai...yaaa! Fun times!

Lilly's Oatmeal Cookies
The quest to create a delicious, healthy substitute for Clif Bars and Noe Valley Bakery treats has come to an end! It's always a problem for us: what to eat when you need something quick, easy and filling? Too many times we settle for something that isn't that good for us, of course. Lilly's Oatmeal Cookie recipe seems to do the trick, so we'd like to share it with you! They're low in sugar, delicious and nutritious. In a bowl, mix 1/8 cup brown sugar, 6 T butter, 1 1/4 cup oats, 1/3 cup fat free milk, 1 egg, 1/2 cup wheat flour, 1/2 cup almond meal, 2 T flax meal, 1/4 t salt, 1/2 t baking soda, 2 t pumpkin pie spice, 2 t vanilla, 1/2 cup raisins, 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional). Bake these babies at 350 degrees for about 10-15 minutes and enjoy!
