We got to see the Pixies front man up close and personal at The Uptown Club in Oakland. Black serenaded us with songs from his new album...good stuff...but none of the ones we know and love :( Dizzy Balloon was a highlight of the night, so much fun! Can't wait to see them again!

We took a break from homework to watch some sporting events. The Federer/Nadal match was still going when we arrived at Pacbell, so we picked up where we left off and watched the fall of Federer. In much less dramatic fashion, the Giants fell to the Dodgers. It was hot and we got a little burnt, but there's nothing like a day at the park!

i scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

We went on a little walkabout with Gar and Dee...stopping off at the thrift shop, body shop, clothing shop and then ice cream shop! Our cups runneth over and things got a little messy, but sooo tasty :) Takeout from Eric's, Giants game on Tivo and mucho espresso rounded out the night. Woohoo!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy Birthday America! Happy Birthday Adam! The perfect way to celebrate both? Tres Agaves margaritas! After a couple pitchers, we were ready for fireworks. Unfortunately, so was everyone else. Trying to get to the pier was madness, so we switched directions and headed for the Mission. Taking the outskirts route we found the backwoods fireworks show! After some crash bang boom we met up with the fam at the 500 Club, then it was on to Ramblas. Sweet churros and chocolate sauce! Oh my!
