Art Exhibit at Fort Mason

MFA exhibition for SFAI. So many cool pieces...one had cinnamon dusted everywhere around the setting which smelled sooo good! The artist was trying to bring back childhood memories and smell was a big part of it. Another was a Western film shootout with 4 television sets. One was playing a John Wayne movie. The other 3 t.v.'s played video of bullets shooting through televisions making it look like John Wayne was shooting them. Another installation had a camera that turned the viewers into "cyborgs" which we had fun with. So many cool things to look at! Awesome!

What a beautiful, moody day for a walk outside...can you believe those clouds??? We admired Grandpa's new workshop which he built by hand - at the age of 89! And we discussed possible patterns for the clay oven, complained about work; generally shot the shit. Good times! Happy Mother's Day Mama!!!

A Visit with Aunt Elvira

We surprised Auntie E with a little visit - first Em and Jay arrived, then Ad and Lil walked in and the cherry on top Gar and Bob...it looked like the fun would never stop. She looks happy and has a nice view of Ripon from her window...plus yummy candy for us :) How sweet!
