Rawhide!

Lilly, Alicia and Cole spent the day in the Old West. While the boys were at the baseball game, we were checking out the farm animals, riding the train and witnessing a showdown! We got popcorn, pretzels and ice cream, and a bull ride was the cherry on top. Fun times!

Breakfast at Cafe Monarch

We'd tried to get in for dinner at this place the night before, but no go - reservations were a couple weeks out. So, Saturday brunch it was! Chef Christopher cooked up delicious, beautiful dishes and it was such a yummy experience! A highlight of the trip, no doubt.

Our Home at 3 Palms

We reserved a two bedroom suite - what we got was a room with 2 queen beds and a living room with a sofabed! But we had a good 'ol time in our cozy abode! It was cute, had a pretty pool and was near a 'lil river. Nice home away from home :)

Dinner and a Movie

Our first night in Scottsdale - we wandered around Old Towne and stopped in a taqueria for some eats. Then it was back to the hotel where we settled in and watched The American on the laptop. The food was good, the movie was bad! 1 out of 2 ain't bad!

Flight to Phoenix

Ballet Program 3

We headed to the Opera House last week for the ballet. The third program was the best - very Dada-esque. The dancers would get in long lines and progress across the stage in asymmetrical fashion; there was a lot of arm movement and suddenly the curtain would drop and make a loud clap. It was an awesome break from the norm!
