Castle Road Campout

We had a good 'ol fashioned campout in the country last weekend. Throw in a little tri-tip, apple pie and ping pong and we were set! Ad was a little pissed when he lost a game, but cheered right up with the addition of a little bling. And no family get-together would be complete without staying up hecka late playing Catch Phrase and then waking up at the crack of dawn for breakfast. Good times!

We killed our meal in the dungeon last weekend. The pizzas and cocktails were no match against us! It was fun times with the fam as we recounted past Christmases and listened to an Outside Lands soundtrack. Ah Christmas...just around the corner!!!

Haighters

We walked all over yesterday...Dolores Park, shops down Valencia, Blockbust on Church and then on to Haight. We'd read about a place that serves up a fine cocktail near Golden Gate Park, so we decided to walk up the hill. Stopped in a few shops on the way and then came upon Alembic, our final destination. We got a spot at the bar and ordered up a Rosita and a Macanudo. Then we decided to try their local love fare and ordered the flank steak and black cod. To top it off, we got the Bees Knees, which it was. We'll be visiting them again soon!

Cocktails!

We braved the chilly wind to get some Elixir last night. The Rancho Ancho and Bank Exchange Punch did us up right. Then we walked on down the line to Beretta for some delicious pizza, salad and bonet chocolate gelato. Mmmmm...

Slow Food Walk

We visited Slow Food Nation with the fam, and had some sustainable eats. There was a big garden in the middle of it all and we couldn't help wondering how many bums might call it home, but it was sure pretty! Then it was on to the Mission for some window-shopping! Good times :)
