A Night at the Ballet
We were given tix to attend the ballet and see the world premier of Raku. It was amazing! Based on the burning of Golden Pavilion, it's a story of desire, passion, loyalty, suffering, jealousy and finally death. A full orchestra with Japanese instrumentation...oh it was grand! And there were two other ballets too - classical and not quite as interesting, but still beautiful!

Superbowl 2011
We all gathered at Gram and Gramps to take in the superbowl on their new, huge television. What fun!
Dinner then Dessert
Despite our best efforts to eat as a group, the restaurants weren't having it. So, we split up - Lilly, Mark, Pat and their friend Lillian ate dinner at Flour + Water. Adam, Clint, Alicia and Cole had vegan fare across the way at Cafe Gratitude. After dinner, Lilly joined the Elsholz crew for dessert...yum! Their "I Am Mighty" superfood energy bar is one of the best thing to happen to the world of sweets...hemp, flax, sesame, pumpkin, sunflower seeds, almonds, goji berries, coconut butter, cocoa butter, cocoa nibs and whole vanilla, dipped in chocolate. Um, we might have to get another one, like, now.
