Nylen Thanksgiving

A feast fit for royalty! We worked up an appetite just in time for the Thanksgiving grand finale at Jay's. Delicious food was everywhere...we really outdid themselves this year. Top it off with some cocktails and the obligatory game of Catch Phrase and it's a holiday in heaven. Woot woot!

Elsh Thanksgiving

Game time! We took a break from feasting and got down to gaming. A few rousing games of Clue followed by an exciting game of Sorry was just the ticket. Not quite enough to keep Papa Jim up though...fun times!

Schroeder Thanksgiving

The Schroeders gathered round the table for a delicious feast this year! With a new addition of the Goddess salad from Dad, along with the amazing turkey, stuffing and all the rest of the great food...well, let's just say we had it very good! It was nice to see Andrew again; since he's moved to Portland we don't get to see him much. It was fun to hear all the great stories from Oregon. We missed Lynn though, who had to work with the doggies on the big holiday. We made up for her absence by eating twice as much! Happy Thanksgiving!

Packs of homeless? Really?

Apparently we're overrun with crazies here. Isn't this what every city is like? No? Have we gone mad?

North Beachers

Jay came to the citay! We danced at Mojito and shared a cocktail at a hidden away bar on Romolo. Then we devoured a taco and stood in line for some pizza that tasted susupiciously cafeteria-like. Topped it off with a nice drive through the bluebird-filled Presidio (no ticket, thank you very much) and headed home. Ah, what a nice night on the town!

We Drove South

We had to take the Maz to the dealership for a checkup, so we decided to rent another Maz and drive all over the place. We got some breakfast in Burlingame, took a walk by Crystal Springs Reservoir, drove through a few parks and came upon a freaky deer hoof we think some crazy mountain person ate from and discarded. A plant nursery is a beautiful place to wander around, looking at all the crazy flowers and succulents and citrus. We got a Star Jasmine and a bunch of tulip bulbs. Before we knew it, 5 hours had passed and we got the call our car was ready to pick up. It was pouring rain by then, perfect time to head back to our cozy nest. Aaah, sweet day down South.

The Still High Tour

We descended upon The Grand Regency Ballroom to see Mr. Meth and Redman. They played a bunch of pimp songs and got the crowd ralleyed up. Except for the fact that Method Man's mic was turned down and the show ended abrubtly on schedule (no encore) we had a great time and can't wait for the new album and movie! Blackout 2 and How High 2, woohoo!
