we could pretend it all the time...

Outside Lands Day 3: off the hook! By the third day of the festival, we're sore from all the dancing. It's been a workout. But that doesn't stop us from getting down to The Mighty Underdogs at 1 o'clock! Follow that up with some Culver City Dub Collective and we're really in the groove again. After that, Toots & the Maytals made the pressure drop with 54-46...that's their number y'all! We got to hear one song by Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, but then we were off to hear The Cool Kids at the Panhandle stage. The best beats and rhymes of the whole festival! They were a lot of fun. Then it was back to The Avenues for Little Brother, some mo hip hop for us. They were pimp! After them, Rodrigo y Gabriela started playing on the big stage...some crazy guitar followed. Unheard of...we never knew how cool Stairway to Heaven could sound. Wow. After being awed by those 2, we were back to The Avenues for Los Amigos Invisibles for some funky Spanish music...lotsa fun to dance to. After that we got a big cookie and an ice cream to settle in for Jack Johnson. He was the perfect ending to a perfect festival. Mellow, chill, relaxing. Dancing any more and we probably would have fallen over. Outside Lands we miss you!
